Along with his two siblings, Trevor is the third generation of the family and for many years (after a long stint in the bakehouse) was our Managing Director.

Today, whilst he still enjoys experimenting with dough and keeping an eye on our four shops, you will generally find Trevor in his shed, turning wood on his lathe.

Fondest memory – “Travelling to the coast for family holidays on a sofa in the back of a bread van.”

Sue, Trevor’s wife, started working at the bakery as a Saturday girl at the age of 15 in one of the shops and today is our HR and Finance Director.

A true foodie, Sue was renowned for her homemade pizzas sold in the bakery during the 1980s. Sue has worked in all areas of the bakery over the years so knows the business inside-out, which seems to make her the first point of call for any type of question or problem!

Fondest Memory – “listening to tales told by the old bakers in the early 1970s when they delivered bread to the shop in the early hours.”

Mike, seen here at the age of 8 in front of the old bread ovens first installed in the 1930s, has been working with dough from an early age and has a real passion for the craft.

With a keen interest in artisan baking, Mike enjoys developing new sourdoughs or laminating pastry to create croissants, cruffins and cronuts.

Fondest Memory – “Popping into our shop on my way home from school for a doughnut to be added to my father’s tab.”

Like many of the fourth generation, Angela started working for the bakery after school, icing Danish buns for pocket money. Today she is our Sales Director and divides her time between looking after our loyal customers and coming up with new cake ideas.

If you ever see a fresh loaf of bread in the office with the middle torn out you know Angie can’t be far away!

Fondest Memory – “Climbing up the pile of flour bags in the loft with Mike when I was little and coming up with cake ideas with the NPD team”

Tristan is Angela and Mike’s brother-in-law and has the fancy title of Brand Director at the bakery.

After graduating from university (where he met Jo Pullin) Tristan lent a hand with design and marketing at the bakery on a casual, part-time basis. Today he heads up all the company marketing, from design and branding to packaging and social media.

Fondest Memory – “Launching our first shop in Bristol (Westbury on Trym) in the run up to Christmas. Seeing the shop in action during those first few days after many months designing the store was amazing.”
