Win a Christmas Hamper!

This competition is now CLOSED - please do not enter! Watch out for more in 2012....MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Q: Which Pullin family member has fond memories of Christmas?

Don't worry, you won't need to give us a ring and have a chat to find out, the answer is somewhere on this website... Once you know, simply click the image above and pop your answer in the box provided on the form, along with your email address, phone number and name.  We won't give your information out to anyone else - your phone number will only be used to contact you if you've won so we can post you the hamper in time for Christmas!

This competition closes on the 20th of December so you must be available on this date to provide us with an address to send the hamper if you've won.

Good luck!

*The hamper may differ slightly from the one shown here (just a boring disclaimer)*
We can only send the hamper to addresses in mainland England and Wales unfortunately.  There is only one hamper up for grabs and the winner will be chosen randomly.
Entering this competition will also subscribe you to our monthly newsletter so you can be among the first to find out about future competitions, offers and news from the bakery.

Rye Great Taste Award!

We just heard that we won a 2 Star Great Taste Award for our Rye Sourdough!

Made using only local rye flour, water and salt the loaf scooped the coveted double star award and impressed the judges who described it as "A good looking well made loaf with a distinctive flavour and great texture."

If you fancy trying the Rye Sourdough for yourself it's available from our online shop - click the image above to have a browse.

Back from Cheltenham

We exhibited at Cheltenham food Festival last weekend and our bread went down a treat.  In fact, someone came back after trying our Rye to say it was the nicest bread they'd ever tasted!  So thank you very much for that compliment, it's great to pass feedback like that on to our bakers.

We love our summer food shows and they're really getting going now.  We're at a food market this Saturday in Bristol at Quakers Friers in Cabot Circus and then it's Slow Food again on Sunday the 3rd of July so don't miss those.  The Harbourside Festival in Bristol starts on the 29th of July too for the weekend and is always a brilliant day out - we'll be there with stacks of bread and other goodies so come and say hello, the entry is free!

Online Shop

We've just launched a new online shop so food lovers across the land can have a selection of artisan loaves, handmade cakes and baking kits delivered to their doors. We're still in the process of getting everything up together but we're mostly there. All the breads are ready to go and we're hoping to have a range of cakes online in the next few weeks. Check out our Easter Biscuits too in the seasonal cake section, made the traditional way using real oil of Cassia.
